Job Title: Commissioning Manager

In order to be considered for this position, you must have,

A recognised Engineering, Mechanical or Process Engineering degree
8 years plus experience on process plant construction
Experience of commissioning and start-up of hydrocarbon process plant.
Knowledge of relevant API/ANSI standards
Knowledge of piping/equipment installations and testing methods
Knowledge of E + I equipment and safe commissioning procedures
Experience of working for client or a contractor.

Supervise and control the development of pre-commissioning functions applicable to all phases of projects with Piping and E&M content, including the Bid/Estimation Phase, Project Mobilisation and Execution.

Support the provision of input during the estimating phase of a project in regards with the size of the work-scope, and identification of any difficulties or special requirements.

With the Project Manager, develop a strategy for organising the pre-commissioning and hydro-testing scope of work.

Liaise with the E&I Construction Manager to establish an integrated approach to project completion and pre-commissioning.

Undertake a ‘commissioning review’ of P+ID’s prior to issue for construction. (EPC Projects)

Work with the Client/Main Contractor to complete procedures/plans/method statements and other documents required for execution of the project completion/pre-commissioning phase.

Lead the preparation of commissioning procedures and methods.
