2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
# Demonstrates visible commitment to HSE by periodically leading/taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc.
# Provides emergency medical care and first aid in case of accidents and emergencies. Performs and assists in medical transfers, ambulance services and emergency evacuations as necessary.

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
# Processes invoices by checking amounts and relevant details, ensuring compliance with POs, Work Service Orders, contractual provisions, verifies the goods and services have been received in SAP by GRN/ SES and ensures proper authorization according to delegated authorities.
# Performs accurate and up-to-date maintenance of accounts payables records relating to COMPANY’s payable accounts including maintenance of records of contracts, bank guarantees and related documentation.
# Processes invoices from contractors and vendors after ensuring the terms are as per contract, work statements are approved by Company representatives and supporting documents exist for reimbursables.
# Processes invoices from shareholders for secondees and services. Verifies invoices are in accordance with Shareholders agreements. Ensures Requests for Services exist.
# Processes invoices for contracted staff after ensuring time sheets are approved and amounts are as per contracts.
# Verifies or codes accounts ensuring accuracy of cost centres and/or WBS, as per chart of accounts. Forwards invoices to G/L Accountant for verification of coding. If necessary, allocates cost to cost centres according to procedures. After verification, “Posts” invoices in SAP for payments.
# Processes payments to employees as vendors in SAP for their monthly allowances on long term duty assignment.
# Issues monthly A/P reports showing analysis of balances and overdue amounts. Justifies delay in payments. Verifies with G/L Accountant the A/P balance in the General Ledger.
# Answers queries from vendors. Reviews vendors’ accounts in SAP and clears accounts. Initiates twice a year confirmation of account balances with all vendors.
# Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived as unsafe. Complies with the COMPANY QHSE management system and reports all incidents and near misses to the supervisor or QHSE representative.

• Reviews end-user submitted ‘Statement of Requirements’ to determine technical adequacy of work-scope and specifications, and liases with job officers regarding any required revisions to ‘Statement of Requirements’.
• Develops and recommends optimum contracting strategy based on work-scope and other requirements, such as, schedule, warranty etc.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
