Job Title: Design Engineer - Utilities Sector

In this role the Design Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and commenting on design drawings as part of the coordination of all design aspects related to infrastructure, utility networks, service corridor constraints, utility building requirements and design review workshops.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

• Assisting in ensuring Infrastructure, Utility Company and Plot Owner’s Consultants design adhere to Master Schedule for the project and ensuring the master schedule is optimized to minimize logistical issues.

• Coordinating development of infrastructure and utility network tenders.

• Reviewing documents in various phases for compliance with Master Plans and technical guidelines.

• Working in a multi-discipline environment sharing and coordinating work with plot owner’s consultants, contractors and regulatory agencies to meet the project goals.

• Producing detailed Design Review Reports and assisting in the preparation of design review workshops.


Qualification: B.Sc in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Membership of a professional Engineering Association is preferred. Previous experience gained within a Consultancy environment would be beneficial.

Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
